Dixie Normous LXIX (born September 15th, 1991) is a Vinish politician who is the 25th and current President of Vindex Nation. He is also the former Secretary of State, Secret Service Director, Chief of Naval Operations for the Vinish Navy, politician, Lech Minister of Defense and is the owner and founder of Normous News Network.
Normous' first experience as a citizen of Vindex Nation was as a sailor during the Vindex-Wilden war under the Wellington Administration. Normous has been a member of the Vinish Navy numerous times and has been the Chief of Naval Operations twice. Normous helped to increase the Department of Defense activity during the end of the Tyler Administration, and he was awarded a Presidential Medal of Honor for his service in the Vindex-Hakuna conflict (02/26/2023). He started off his political career as a representative, where he tried passing the Helicopter Act, which allowed for capital punishment by throwing criminals out of helicopters. He has ran for president numerous times, with his most recent campaign being in 2023.
Normous has lived at the same house his entire life as a Vinish citizen, anhouse across from Seawall Church.
Early Life
Normous, a Vinish-Maltese, was born the son of an unknown Spanish woman and Dixie Normous LXVIII on September 15th, 1991, in Valletta, Malta. His father was a well known politician in Malta and a former member of the Navy, which heavily inspired Normous to continue his fathers legacy.
Immigration
Dixie Normous immigrated to Vindex Nation with his brother, Nicholas Romanov II, and his two cousins Cecil Rhodes and Alum Brado after political conflict in Malta killed Dixie Normous LXVIII and forced the Normous family to migrate. The Normous family officially migrated to Vindex in 2016, where they all parted ways to pursue different careers. Nicholas Romanov II went to Rome to serve under Pope Pius XIV, Cecil Rhodes went to Lech to become a member of the LSS, and Alum Brado, unable to speak any language other than Spanish, resorted to a life of crime.
Military Career
Dixie Normous first started his career in Vindex Nation by enlisting in the Vinish Navy as a sailor. When he first immigrated to Vindex Nation, a war had just begun between Vindex and Wilden.
Rebel Career
While Normous has spent a large majority of his career attempting to help and fix Vindex Nation, there was a period of time he rebelled against it. During the Wellington Administration, Normous had ran for Warlord and won. As Warlord, Normous fought hard against the Wellington Administration and the Department of Defense. Normous had created the first ever Rebel Fleet along with some of his rebel compatriots to fight the Vinish Navy in San Amaro, and established Dixieland as a home base for the rebels in San Amaro. Normous had ran for re-election for Warlord, but Livi Ashes returned to the server and was quickly voted in by all senior rebellion members. To this day if you ask Normous if he was ever the Warlord, he denies all allegations.
Political Career
Normous has been very active in Vinish politics throughout his career in the nation. Normous is a multi-term representative, a former Speaker of the House, a multi-term presidential candidate, and is currently (as of April 2023) running for president again. Some notable works by Normous would be the original Duel Act (Rejected by President Oro, re-proposed by Neugs Barclay as the Fights and Duels Act), The War Time Use of Drugs and Bio Weapons Act, and the Anti-Bribery Act. Normous is currently the President of Vindex Nation, who won the first round of the election in a landslide, and won the second round after his opponent, celerry, dropped out. Normous achieved many things as president: He established the Parks Department, removed multiple of the Oro Administrations Executive Orders, solved the debt crisis by paying back all of the debt, brought back NASA, declared war on terror against the Taliban, established the Hakunan Exclusion Act which created immense hatred and disdain towards Hakuna that resulted in their eventual dissolvement as a nation, and then annexed Hakuna as a third state, appointed MartainDABeast as First Viceroy of Hakuna, advocated for legislation taxing the wealthiest and biggest burdens on society, and awarded Grimace from McDonalds the Medal of Honor.
Secret Service Career
Normous has been in the Secret Service numerous times throughout his career in Vindex Nation. Normous became the Secret Service Director under Secretary of Treasury Aiden and has helped to protect high ranking Vinish government officials and VIP's from assassinations and kidnappings. Normous was awarded a Secret Service Medal of Honor for his efforts in the Secret Service, and to this day still holds the Secret Service in a special place in his heart.
