Brandon Barclay

Brandon Barclay (KiwiThePygmySloth) is a member of the Barclay Family. He was happily married to Wilbert Barclay until Wilbert's untimely death. Their relationship began during their co-running of the VFD. Brandon Barclay became the 30th Fire Chief (upon the merging of the firefighter and EMS teams) after the departure of the 24th Fire Commissioner Xander. Working in the Department of Health and Human Services has been a life-long commitment for Brandon, who has served as Chief Physician and Surgeon General in the Vindex Health Department, and as Deputy and Fire Chief in the Vindex Fire Department.

Relationships/Marriages:

Brandon was briefly married to Phil Phillenberger many years ago.

After divorcing, he found comfort in his relationship to Gwaryer.

More recently, he married his soulmate Wilbert Barclay on the 20th September 2024. Their loving relationship met its untimely demise upon Wilbert's unfortunate passing in a fire on the 7th February 2025.

He remains single in devotion to his passed husband.

DHHS Career

He began as a doctor many years ago; working his way up to VHDTrainer.

Working in the Vindex Health Department had been a huge commitment for Brandon, having served as the 16th Surgeon General as well as various other roles within the department (i.e. Trainer, Chief Physician, etc).

Having a small change of heart when it comes to career path, he moved over to the VHD's sister department: the Vindex Fire Department.

Having worked as EMSTrainer previously, he fell into place within the department and began his new career path, working as Fire Deputy and as the current Fire Chief.

He hopes to move onto a bigger role with the upcoming elections, with the hopes to serve as the next Secretary of the Health and Human Services.
