Phillip Zachary is a former Vinish military officer, statesman, and entrepreneur, who served as the first Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces from 2015 to 2016. Appointed by President Christian Silversmith, he was tasked to establish an organized Army, later authorizing the creation of the Vindex Nation Navy under command of Fleet Admiral Noah Turnet. Zachary has been called the "Father of the Military" for his manifold leadership in the military's founding.

Zachary's first public office, in 2015, was as Director of White House Military Office under the operational leadership of Vice President Collin Heralds. Later, he received a special appointment by the president to suppress the increasing rebel aggression. His office was removed following the establishment of the office of Secretary of Defense, and subsequently received a commission as General of the Army.

Zachary played an important role as the first Governor of Viridis, establishing state departments and agencies dedicated to further the welfare of Viridisians. During his tenure, he also established a census and administered a business registry intended to maintain a record of state affairs. He also oversaw the annexation of Prussia under the state of Viridis.

Early Life (2014-2015)

The Zachary family were immigrants who came from a far away land which was devastated by famine and disease. Many of its early family members who came and settled in Vindex Nation started out as potato farmers. Phillip Zachary Jr. was born on May 22, 1992, at Downtown in Vindex City, Viridis, and was the first of four children.

After graduating from the University of Viridis with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), he founded his company which was called Sherlock Industries, now known as Sherlock Enterprises. He partnered up with (Callwarrior) and embarked on his first business endeavor, Shercall, which designs, manufactures, and sells move craft airplanes. He later invited a popular engineer (Buttertwins) to join his firm as a stakeholder and head of its defense section, spearheading the production of fighter aircrafts and missiles. His success in aviation manufacturing led him to establish his second firm under the parent company, Vinish Airways.

After suggesting the creation of detectives to President Silversmith, he became the first person to take the detective exam. He took charge of many cases that led to the exposure of organized crime in the nation, including the first ever publication of an underground mafia that ran deep in Seawall City.

Military Career (2015-2017)

The enlistment of his close friend Sergeant (Buttertwins) and the leadership of Captain Seth Kraid inspired Zachary to seek enlistment in the Vindex Nation Army. He worked closely under Captain Kraid and received training from Sergeant (turtlc). His dedication to service led him to become the first promoted officer and subsequently the first to hold all officer ranks (excluding Captain).

Supreme Commander

After serving as General for a while, President Silversmith finally commissioned Zachary as Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He oversaw the first construction in Fort Irwin and ordered the creation of new camps as well as adequate living quarters, office spaces, a medical bay, and a security wing which included a detention cell and an interrogation room. He also established the first units in the V.N. Army which included the three oldest divisions: Infantry Division, and Medical Command (MEDCOM), and Intelligence & Security Command (INSCOM). After given a proposal by Noah Turnet, a coast guard officer, he authorized the creation of the V.N. Navy under Turnet's command.
