The Governor of Viridis was the head of government of the V.N. state of Viridis. At certain periods of time, the governor had the duty to enforce state regulations and had the power to grant pardons, except in cases of impeachment and treason. On March 3, 2023, President Gargathe Oro removed Governor Jonas Laff from office and unilaterally abolished the position[1]. There have been no governors ever since.

History
The position of Governor of Viridis was established by Secretary of State Calvin Herb to administer the rapidly growing state of Viridis and to consolidate the position of the many former mayors into one office.
