Secretary of Health and Human Services is the head of Vindex Nation Department of Health and Human Services, concerned with health matters. The Secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet. The office was Secretary of State and Surgeon General respectively before it was merged.

In 2018, the Department of Health was merged with the Department of State. Seylum Britannia headed the department after it was merged, he was previously the Secretary of State. Twin Raviva (raviva) remained as Surgeon General under the Department of Health & Human Services. Thomas Kirkman selected former Commander of Naval Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Admiral Amanda Nalgas to be the 2nd Secretary of the Health and Human Services Department.

The duties of the secretary revolve around human conditions and concerns in Vindex Nation. This includes advising the president on matters of health, welfare, and income security programs. The Secretary strives to administer the Department of Health and Human Services to carry out approved programs and make the public aware of the objectives of the department.

The Department of Health and the Department of State was merged into a Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The Department of Health and Human Services oversees several agencies including the Vindex Fire Department (VFD).
