St Thomas Aquinas Church was built in April 2019, and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Lech, along with the mostly-unchanged Cracov Square. Upon its completion, the church was a Catholic church, but on 16 March 2020, the church became a neutral place of worship.
 
St Thomas has been the sight of historic events in Lech, most notably the coronation of King Maximilian I, the inaugaral King of Lech, on April 15, 2019.
