Before the formation of the Grand Principality, the Kingdom of Aquitaine was an independent state, ruled by King Louis I. After several months of decline, the Aquitaine was annexed by the Kingdom of Lech as a constituent colony. It was later formed as a Grand Principality and is now ruled by H.S.H.
