Truman Winters is the former Prince of Rome, Pres. of Vindex Nation, Godfather, Casino Owner, Speaker of the House, Minister of Foreign Affairs (Aquitaine), and currently serves as the 17th Chief Justice of Vindex Nation.

UPBRINGING

Cousin of William Winters, little is known of Truman Winters early life. For the most part, it is only known that he was born in Aquitaine, and eventually moved to Hakuna after serving as Prince of Rome. Upon taking his new residency in Hakuna, he established his home in the Bay of Matata, where he now owns the local lighthouse. Locals affectionately refer to him as "The Keeper of the Flame."

His time in Aquitaine is often highlighted by his term as the Minister of Foreign Relations, where he met with the President of Vindex Nation multiple times.

PRIVATELY RUN BUSINESSES

Truman Winters made his name in Vindex Nation by running his own casino in San Amaro - the Stardust Casino and Resort. His casino was rated as "The Best Casino in the Country" by the Department of Commerce, an award he has displayed proudly in his casino. While exact earnings are unclear, it is estimated he has made roughly $10,000,000 off of his casino. He has long argued that San Amaro is the best state to run a casino in, due to its natural aesthetic.

He was also the owner and operator of The Golden Nugget casino located in Seawall. The casino was eventually shut down due to internal concerns regarding the operation of its own shuffler. Rumor has it that the house lost so much money they simply could not keep up with operation. Currently, small3 has been hollowed out with no clear intentions of the future establishment.

Recently, he has begun the Vinish Billiards League. The league is designed as a bracket-styled tournament of pool. While no contests have taken place to date, Winters maintains the league is in development and will eventually host tournaments.

VIA OPERATION AGAINST CHIEF OF STAFF WILLIAM PORTER

Appointed by Director Elviis, Truman Winters served honorably as a VIA Agent, a very hard title to achieve. During his time as a VIA Agent, he proudly led an operation that toppled the tyrannical Chief of Staff William Porter - who blatantly claimed he was "de-facto President," and used the military to assassinate political opponents.

The operation led to the collapse of William Porters' Presidential Campaign and government career. Truman Winters' stood strong in the face of a tyrant, and has been remembered in that capacity ever since. He was saddened when William Porter led to the collapse of the VIA - ",everything he touches turns to garbage."

Truman was not involved with any other VIA Operations worth mentioning, as his time in the VIA was brief. Shortly after joining the VIA, SrPenguin took office as President of Vindex Nation. The change of administration prompted Winters to run for congress, effectively ending his time in the VIA.

POLITICAL CAREER

While Truman Winters has maintained he is not a politician, there is no denying he has established himself as one. His spot in politics started on the wrong foot as he was fired from Ambassador following a failed coup-d'état attempt of the tyrannical Percy regime. Winters has long argued, "We had no President! I did what I had to do, regardless of the consequences!" Polling has largely suggested that public perception has shifted in his favor on the matter. While he has signaled that the Judicial Branch will be the final resting spot of his career, the media believes he will run for President in the future (SOURCE: V-SPAN).

Following his arrival in Congress, Christopher Silversmith nominated him to serve as Speaker of the House - he was voted in with a 4-1 majority.

Prior to serving as Chief Justice, Truman Winters was the Pres. of Vindex Nation and handled all media related matters on behalf of the Whitehouse. Prior to that, he served as the Speaker of the House for the 81st Congress. He played a major part in reviving the government following the collapse of the Perccy-rachel regime that left the server in shambles. He helped pass the stimuli that boosted the DHHS and VPD. As Chief Justice, he currently has stated he is rebuilding the Judicial Branch. To date, he has appointed two District Judges, and one Associate Justice.

Most recently, Truman was deeply involved in the notorious 3/5 Protest of the CFN Presidential Debate, which saw the successful transfer of how the debate was handled. It was a major win for anti-Lech coalitions that long protested the Lech media group hosting the only Presidential debate the nation would see.

ESTABLISHMENT OF HIS HAKUNA RESIDENCY

"The Keeper of the Flame" was a title gifted by the locals, as he established the lighthouse that has prevented ships from washing ashore the beaches of The Bay of Matata. Sources claim that the flame is powered by vegetables.

Politically speaking, Winters' has long supported the Chief of Hakuna Hiqora. It has been noted that Winters is on the commission that is planning the Hakunian Festival of Life. While his involvement has been confirmed, no date or time has been announced for the event.
