Aquitaine is an island and self governing [[Lech]] colony north of San Amaro. It is the largest and northernmost colony of Lech. Aquitaine consists of five provinces including Batavia, Helvetica, Liguria, Letetia and Westphalia.

The Grand Principality of Aquitaine is a nation and self-governing state North of San Amaro. It is an island with vassal ties to the Empire of Lech,  being the largest of its kind. It consists of five main Provinces including Lutetia, Batavia, Helvetica, Liguria, and Westphalia. It is currently ruled by His Serene Highness William (William__Winters) the Grand Prince of Aquitaine, Duke of Newport.  


Before colonisation, the Kingdom of Aquitaine was an independent state, ruled by King Louis I. After several months of decline, the Aquitaine was annexed by the Kingdom of Lech as a constituent colony.
Aquitaine is a state inspired by French culture, customs, and traditions. It is a land of safety, prosperity, and pleasure. A land for people to enjoy themselves with wonderful food and drink, express themselves with their art and fashion, establish themselves in the world of international business, and secure themselves in a beautiful place with great people, great ideals, and the best yet most affordable land.

The Legislative body of Government is the Aquitaine Council of Ministers. The Council of Ministers is led by the Prime Minister, who is appointed by the Grand Prince of Aquitaine. Every law and proposal is debated in the Aquitaine Council, and upon the passing of laws and proposals, verified by the Prime Minister's Signature, it would be sent to the Grand Prince of Aquitaine to approve or deny it. The Aquitaine Council of Ministers consists of the Minister of Public Safety, Minister of Labor, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of the Treasury, Minister of Interior, and the Prime Minister.
 
The Executive and Sovereign body of Government is the Grand Prince of Aquitaine. The Grand Prince of Aquitaine holds full right to veto or pass any law or proposal. He is the ultimate Sovereign of Aquitaine. This body also absorbs the Judicial body of Government, with Justice being under the direct authority of the Crown of Aquitaine.

The Gendarmerie, within the Department of Public Safety, acts as the sole military, police, defense, and national and royal guard of the Grand Principality of Aquitaine. The Gendarmerie is divided into three main regiments and is led by the Director-General of the Gendarmerie. The current holder of this position is Director-General Samuel Veltor, Minister of Public Safety (Comblo).
