Malta, officially the Principality of Malta is a colony of the Empire of Lech. It is an island located southwest of mainland Lech.

Etymology

Malta comes from the nation of Malta in the Mediterranean, and the name Malta was chosen due to Malta being a largely Catholic nation.

History

The Jackson Presidency

The Vitler Supporting rebels in front of the original flag of Malta, which was then going to be called the Tsardom of Amauran.

After Adrian Jackson won in the presidential election against Vitler, the Vitler supporters fled to the state of San Amaro to stage a rebellion against the newly elected president. This rebellion lasted a few hours, with the capital of San Amaro being held by these rebels, and with the rebellion ultimately ending up in a stalemate. Soon after the rebellion, these rebels had planned to create their own nation in the middle of the ocean of San Amaro. Brody McLallen found a small island southwest of Lech and began building dirt all around the island. Many members of this rebellion soon joined in, and the small island transformed into a large square of land in the ocean. The rebels originally planned to make this island a Russian style nation called the Tsardom of Amauran, but were soon contacted by Pope Pius XIV. The Pope had told them that they could become a part of the Holy See if they changed the islands name to Malta, and became a Catholic nation. The rebels agreed, and this island was soon regioned as Malta.

Maltese Developments

After Malta became an official state of the Holy See, many architectural projects began. The first and biggest project of Malta was the Hagia Sophia.
