St Thomas Aquinas Church was built in April 2019, and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Lech, along with the mostly-unchanged Cracov Square. Upon its completion, the church was a Catholic church, but on 16 March 2020, the church became a neutral place of worship.
St Thomas has been the sight of historic events in Lech, most notably the coronation of King [[King Maximilian I|Maximilian I]], the inaugaral King of Lech, on April 15, 2019.
