Vindex Nation (commonly known as Vindex) is a sovereign state located in the Greater Vindex region. The nation is notable for its historical role as a regional hegemon and for the influence it has exerted in conflicts involving Wilden and Lech. Vindex has been governed by a presidential system throughout most of its history, though the extent of executive power has varied widely, ranging from periods of authoritarian rule to ongoing efforts toward democratization. The country also experienced a brief imperial era marked by the reigns of four successive monarchs.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is an independent agency of the Vinish government responsible for preserving and providing access to the nation's historical and cultural heritage.
NARA houses official government documents, photographs, maps, legislation, and other historical artifacts of Vindex Nation, and preserves records on behalf of the Empire of Lech and the Kingdom of Wilden.
